What happens after I pay?

Why not just use CapCut, Submagic or Captions?

Those are great for captions and quick cuts, but they're monthly subscriptions and they edit the same way for everyone. AI Operator is one payment, runs on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already have, and edits in your style: logos, app screens and graphics placed as you speak, not just subtitles. Pro also plans, writes and handles comments, so it's your whole content workflow, not one editing step.

Does it post for me?

You stay in control. Claude plans, writes, edits and drafts replies; you approve and post, or schedule in Instagram. Most people spend about an hour a week.

What does it cost to run?

Very little. You need a paid Claude plan (Claude Code) or a paid ChatGPT plan (Codex), about $20 a month, which you may already have. The bright style needs nothing else. The dark style uses Fish Audio for transcription: add $5 of API credit. The optional AI twin uses about $10 of HeyGen API credit, no subscription plan. With an AI twin, a finished video costs about $0.40.

Does it work on Windows?

Yes. It works on Mac and Windows. You need Claude Code or ChatGPT's Codex, which run on both, and the one-message setup installs everything else for you.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes. The skills use the same open skill format that Claude Code and ChatGPT's Codex both read, and the setup installs them for both. Use whichever plan you already pay for.

I'm not technical. Can I set this up?

Yes. Setup is one message you paste into Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex. It installs your video editor and skills, tells you where to get each key and tests that everything works, in about 10 minutes. After that, your daily work is sending a script or a clip and tapping approve.

Do I have to use an AI avatar?

No. Film yourself on your phone and Claude does the edit. Or, if you'd rather not be on camera, use an AI twin made from one short clip.

What kind of reels does it edit?

Talking-to-camera videos, you or your AI twin, with Claude adding logos, app screens, graphics and captions as you speak. Perfect for tips, explainers and opinions. It doesn't film real places or physical products, so it's not for room tours or food shots.

Does it work for a business?

How much time will it save me?
